Basic Calculator

To perform basic calculations, simply click on the number buttons (0-9) to input numbers, then use the operation buttons (+, -, ×, ÷) to select the operation you want to perform. Click the equals (=) button to calculate the result. You can also use your keyboard for input: numbers, +, -, *, /, and Enter key for equals.

To clear the calculator display, click the "AC" (All Clear) button. This will reset all current calculations. If you only want to delete the last digit entered, use the delete (⌫) button. You can also use the Escape key on your keyboard to clear all and the Backspace key to delete the last digit.

The calculation history is displayed in the right panel (or below the calculator on mobile devices). After performing calculations, they will automatically be saved to your history. You can click on any history item to load it back into the calculator. You can also clear your history using the "Clear" button in the history panel, or save specific calculations for future reference.

You can switch between light and dark mode by clicking the "Toggle Dark Mode" button at the top of the calculator. Your preference will be remembered for future visits. Dark mode provides a more comfortable viewing experience in low-light environments and can reduce eye strain.

Your calculation data is stored locally in your browser using localStorage and is not sent to our servers. Your data remains private and is only accessible on your device. If you clear your browser data or use a different browser/device, your calculation history will not be available. We do not track, store, or share your calculations with third parties.
